Millcam Construction was delighted to win the Certificate of Excellence for the second year running recognising once again the effort we always go to to be considerate contractors.
The Award was presented once again at the Cambridge Confederation of Construction Industry awards at St Catherine’s College. This prestigious award is only given to contractors who go above and beyond usual standards of good practice to ensure that construction work does not make life unpleasant for people who live and work nearby.
Millcam’s Managing Director Nigel Mills said: “We are really pleased to have won the award again. We appreciate being recognised as a company that makes an extra effort to ensure that we have the best standards of professionalism and courtesy towards those affected by the projects we work on.”
The Considerate Contractor scheme is run by Cambridge City Council and is a voluntary scheme for any contractor in the city.
